The Mindset of a Mentor: Finding Your Inspiration
We are all, "Mentors of the Mindset it Takes To Maintain"
I once found myself in controlling relationships where coercion slowly chipped away at my voice and independence. It took time to recognize how deeply that dynamic shaped my thinking. My turning point came through study—books, research, and self-help resources that helped me rebuild my understanding of healthy boundaries, personal agency, and self-care. Learning became my pathway back to myself.

Another challenge I faced was the painful pattern of devaluation in relationships and the dysfunction it created in my life. Instead of internalizing those messages, I began focusing on my strengths and natural talents. I poured my energy into developing new hobbies and meaningful work—many of which now allow me to support others who have walked similar paths.
There was also a time when I felt trapped in a cycle of abuse that seemed impossible to break. My resolution came through a bold step: relocating to a new city and intentionally starting fresh. With determination and vision, I built my businesses from the ground up, creating spaces centered around growth, empowerment, and continued care.
I have also faced judgment, mockery, and exclusion from parts of my community due to online abuse and exploitation that occurred without my consent. Even through that pain, I kept building. I stayed consistent, made space for healing and grieving, and eventually found like-minded individuals who value resilience, compassion, and authentic connection.
"I walk it like I talk it—chin up, focused on the positive aspects of even the most difficult experiences."
